Parent Training
Providing guidance to parents utilizing behavioral based parenting protocols such as Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Parenting a Strong Willed Child, Skills Training for Children with Behavior Disorders and Parent Management Training. Each Parent Training begins with a functional behavior assessment and a plan is developed with the parent on the various skills and behaviors the parent would like to either increase or decrease within their home. Modeling and coaching are provided to the parents on effective reinforcement and consequence based techniques to assist the parent in developing skills to better manage the inappropriate behaviors that occur at home.
